This holiday season our interviewee is going to give us some insight into the history and legacy of Kwanzaa. Queen Mother Frances Pierce is a self-made entrepreneur, community activist, and spiritual leader. Born in 1928, Pierce was 38 years old when Ron Karenga created Kwanzaa and she has observed it almost every year, since its inception. Blackademics, welcome Queen Mother Frances Pierce.
